Aroha
is the Maori word for love.
Aroha is made up of Aro
to Focus and Ha Breath.
Aroha reminds us to focus on
the way of the breath and it will
open the path to the Heart of
Conscious Creation. When the
ancestors passed forward the wisdom
'ko te mea nui ko te aroha - the
greatest thing is love'
they left in place a great teaching.
TIMELESS WISDOM
Increasingly
people are sharing more widely
the timeless wisdom of ancient
cultures. We are learning that
these cultures were highly
sophisticated and had evolved very
advanced technologies. This
website adds to the sharing by
introducing teachings from the
ancient Maori culture that code
the Heart of Conscious Creation.
HOLISTIC LIVING
We are in a time
when the very fabric of society as we
know it is breaking down. Modern
'man' lives life as a duality -
good/bad, right/wrong, up/down,
in/out man/woman, you/me, them/us and
we put conditions on ourselves that
may work in some situations but not
in others. Duality thinking changed
the word man to mean a male being.
The word 'man' was orginally a unity
term for all human beings. Wer-man
was male human being, wif-man was
female human being. Hu-man refers to
the hue of man and hue being colour
(light), form, appearance, beauty. Wo-man
is the womb of man, the womb of
humanity.
Duality thinking
presents a world of opposites and
separation. Unity thinking presents a
world of diversity and connectedness.
In duality thinking science is hailed
for its advances in technology,
communications, medicine, living
standards. On the social side
teen suicide, depression, stress,
child/baby rape, domestic violence,
drugs, racisim, rampant degenerative
diseases (cancer, diabetes, obesity),
homelessness, poverty, debt are still
all too common. Duality is
really an illusion but we play life
as if duality matters. It does
not. We are unity, we are
whole, our planet is whole. What we
do affects all whether we see it or
not.
We are in a time
when nature is lending a hand to get
us back on track with unity, as
tsunamis, floods, earthquakes,
hurricanes, ice melts devastate
millions of lives. Until we
return to whole living the melt down
will continue. This means a new yet
ancient way of thinking, talking and
being in our world is essential.
Nature is our nurture and from her we
can re-learn. Holistic Living
is about preparing ourselves to
return to unity and the change begins
with one person at a time taking
responsibility for self care and self
education and remembering that Aroha
is the Heart of Conscious Creation.
